When designing a new or modifying an existing central air conditioning and heating systems, Okinawa series high performance heat pumps will be the most effective solution for production and delivery of cooled or heated water and antifreeze to consumers. Double screw compressors feature a low level of power consumption and high reliability, and due to the semi-hermetic design provide easy access to the internal components for servicing. Automation of the unit includes a Siemens microprocessor controller, graphical information display, temperature and pressure sensors, and provides accurate control of water temperature in the hydraulic circuit. The controller provides 16-step control performance in the range from 25 to 100% of the maximum. This ensures high levels of energy efficiency EER and COP, which makes Okinawa series units not only a universal, but also a cost-effective solution for any cooling and heating systems in a building.
Housing: The frame and trim are made of high carbon galvanized steel sheets, powder painted following by high temperature treatment, which provides corrosion-resistant finish.
Compressors: All Okinawa Series systems are equipped with 2, 3 or 4 (depending on model and version) semi-hermetic screw compressors connected in parallel to provide smooth control and reliable operation of the unit. The compressors are equipped with built-in protection against overheating of the motor winding, shut-off valves in the discharge line.
Evaporator: Shell and tube evaporator with a single refrigeration circuit. All evaporators are provided with a drain valve and an air vent. Evaporators of this type are resistant to water hammer, have low requirements for purity of cooling water and are simple in the use and maintenance.
Condenser: A flooded type shell and tube heat exchanger is used. In this type of heat exchangers the cooling water flows inside the copper tubes and the refrigerant condensation occurs on the outside of the copper tube inside the metal casing. Condensers of this type have a higher efficiency compared to the standard shell and tube heat exchanger.
Refrigerant circuit: Each refrigerant circuit in Okinawa series units in standard configuration contains the following items:
- High-pressure sensor
- Water temperature sensors at the inlet and outlet of the evaporator;
- Safety valve in the high and low pressure zones;
- Shut-off valve in the liquid line;
- Solenoid valve in the liquid line;
- Liquid flow sight glass;
- Thermostatic expansion valve with external equalization;
- 4-way cycle reverse valve;
- Low pressure sensor.
Controller: The system is controlled by the "Siemens" controller, equipped with an LCD display, programmable buttons and a speaker. The control panel is located on the door of the electrical panel and is equipped with touch controls. The “Siemens” controller allows you to not only adjust the general settings of the temperature but also control a number of additional features, such as: defrosting system start, compressor run-time check, search through the error log, event programming according to the timer.
